This monumental building is a reminder of the writer Nikolai Ostrovsky — a major figure of soviet propaganda machine. Both outsides and insides (where an exhibition about the life and career of the prominent proletarian author is located) match the scale of Ostrovsky's figure. The scope and magnificence of the project are obvious, as all the outer mosaics are hand-assembled with help of Komsomol (All-Union Leninist Young Communist League).
